Not so much you, but me. I took a brief (year plus...) break from the written world. But I had very good reasons. There was the whole being pregnant thing immediately followed by the giving birth thing. Then of course, there was the raising a newborn thing.
Yes. The unexpected happened. I am a parent. There's something about seeing that goo-covered little human for the first time that sends you on an express jet to Holy-Crap-I'm-an-Adult ville. I'm not saying that I wasn't an adult before. I was just an adult who was able to make irresponsible decisions and go on last minute trips and drain my bank account. Now I'm an adult who is not only responsible for me, but also this little chubby, crawling, drooling, babbling man who just learned how to pick my nose. And no, I'm not talking about my boyfriend :-p
This entire blog is not just going to be parenthood and dull grown-up things (how exciting would a blog about paying bills and doing the dishes be?). It is going to be about life, and love and all of the things connected to it.
